Government Financial Programs

Tax Credit for Home Care Services

For people aged 70 and over, choosing to remain at home has never been so easy. Revenu Québec offers a monthly or yearly reimbursement of 39% of the expenses related to home care services.

EldersBestFriend offers a complete program of companionship and home care services, tailored to the senior’s needs. All services offered by EldersBestFriend are eligible for the Tax Credit offered by Revenu Québec.

Recognizing the growing demand for specialized, compassionate and professional companionship and homecare services, founder and manager Caroline de Leeuw established EldersBestFriend in 2010.

Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bishop’s University and has extensive experience in dealing with the needs of seniors and matching the very best caregivers to take care of those needs, and form a long-term bond.

She is personally involved in the review of every new EldersBestFriend client’s needs and wishes, the selection of a matching caregiver, as well as the follow up with the senior and the senior’s family to ensure the highest level of ongoing client satisfaction.
